You may ask, why 9 instead of 8? In Chinese tradition, it is said that if your family experiences a great misfortune, the 9^th black goldfish you purchase will die instead of you or a family member.

3. Running water fountains represent the natural and smooth flow of money and wealth. The sound of water itself will raise the chi in a room. Make sure that the fountain you select fits the size of the room and enhances your overall décor. Also, the direction of the flowing water should correlate with where the door is located. You want the money to flow towards you, not away from you.

4. Symbols of wealth like a statue of a leaping goldfish or a three-legged toad with a coin in its mouth will greatly increase your potential for wealth. If these objects are a bit too out of the ordinary for your taste, consider purchasing a Prosperity Buddha figurine or a Gold Ingot statue.
