Artistry Skincare and Cosmetics, one of the world’s top-selling prestige brands, has a strong base in scientific research and development. In mid-February, they came to New York City with Spa on Wheels, which housed the F.A.C.E.S (Facial Analysis Computer Evaluation System) imagery device that snaps pictures of the skin’s deep-facial concerns. This high-tech machine uses the same technology that the FBI uses for facial identification.
The pictures show damage that lies beneath the skin’s surface such as UV damage, age spots, fine lines, and wrinkles. Knowing what damage has already been done to the skin aids women in selecting the proper skincare to protect, prevent, and even reverse the severity of the concerns.
When I was presented with the image of my own face from this machine, I reacted with a cringe and a gasp of disgust. Further explanation of what the images were showing eased my worries. However, the thought of what is lying below even for a skincare and SPF junkie like myself is enough to not only keep me going on the hardcore path of prevention and repair, but also fuel my desire to keep searching for the ultimate in skincare. Based on what was seen in my F.A.C.E.S result, Artistry was able to suggest the products that will benefit me the most.
Artistry is mostly known for its age-defying skincare. With a wide range of products backed by dermatologists and linked to more than 500 scientists, it is easy to find a routine that will suit the needs of each individual’s skin. While not everyone can see firsthand what lurks beneath their skin, honest assessment of past skincare habits and/or problems can help determine what damage has been done.
Artistry understands that great makeup only comes after great skincare. The color line offers enough variety for any look, while providing essential benefits to the skin at the same time.
